Intentional Goal Setting

Manifesting goals is something I am very passionate about. I've found that gratitude and goal setting go hand in hand. For me, it comes down to a simple formula that I use weekly when writing out my long and short term goals in my Say Thanks More journal.

I call it “Intentional Goal Setting”.

The reason being because putting intention behind everything we do, helps add value to our community. Putting specific intentions behind our personal short and long-term goals helps us put power forth as we set out to achieve those goals. It helps us “manifest the magic” as my favorite ladies over at Play Spark love to say.

In order to manifest, I’ve found some goal writing “hacks” or a secret sauce that helps me see my goals and believe in them. I’ve been using this formula for intentional goal setting for about a year now and It’s crazy to see how my goals and dreams have come to fruition! My formula? I’m glad you asked. I have it here for you along with a link to my free graphic organizer to help you get your goals (short-term and long-term) organized and start manifesting them as we walk into a new year! Just follow these steps:

  1. Write your goals in the present or past tense- as if you’ve already manifested them.

  2. Start from a place of gratitude using the phrase “I am grateful that...”

  3. Write specific details.

Simple yes? Let me give you my examples:

If my goal is to complete a task by the end of the week I will write “I am grateful that I [the task] on [specific date/time]”.

Or if I have a more long term goal - maybe regarding my income- I’ll write “I’m grateful I make [whatever amount] a week in passive income”.

See? Specific. Repetition and consistency are key- this is why I recommend doing this at least once a week.

I also highly recommend writing them down and posting them somewhere you will see them and recite them out loud every day (i.e.: your bathroom mirror, closet door, above your desk, etc.).

If my goal is to complete a task by the end of the week I will write “I am grateful that I [the task] on [specific date/time]”.

If you are setting goals, I invite you to use these handouts and my formula to manifest them.

Wishing you a very happy new year my friends. One filled with all the magic and manifesting ! I believe in you and your dreams.

xo,

Marie

Thank You, Mom!
